Originally from the Midwest, USA, Cynthia's adventurous spirit has taken her around the world before she made Amsterdam home. Growing up, she loved to dance and cheer, and as an adult, Cynthia continues to explore activities that promote strength, balance, and mindful movement. Whether it’s trying boxing, boot camps, or distance running in Australia, or earning her 200-hour yoga certification, and teaching Vinyasa classes in California, she enjoys taking on new challenges and encouraging those around her to venture outside of their comfort zone.
Although she took her first reformer pilates class many years ago, she still remembers what it felt like to be a first-timer and wondered how others made it seemingly look easy. Now, as a trainer, she brings that empathy and awareness to her classes in order to provide a welcoming environment for all. She will enthusiastically push you to challenge yourself so you leave feeling stronger and with the confidence to come back for more.
When not at PLTS, you can find her baking cakes and cookies, cuddling her cat, or cycling around Amsterdam, rain or shine.
